3/30/07- Sweet Dreams of Rhythm and Dancing

What was supposed to be a big Library crew outing, turned into me, Nicole, and Billy gallavanting around LI on a Friday nite.
So Nicole picked me up from work, and since Billy is a girl and takes 3 hours to get ready we needed to kill some time, so we went to Borders Books.

We went browsing the 2 floors of the store and stumbled onto the romance novels

Fast forward 2 hours later, we made it to the Witches Brew to meet up w/ Billy and while we were waiting for him to find parking we found this crazy insane abandoned school bus

I hope there weren't any kids in this thing whe it crashed

The atmosphere of the place was kinda new age-y, and the music made us feel like someone might have to be sacrificed at the end of the night. Nicole volunteered, but I don't think you're supposed to be smiling if you're about to be sacrificed. we asked our waiter the name of the CD, apparently its called the Dead can Walk.

Billy takes matters into his own hands

it's a written rule that whenever we hangout Nicole has to slap Billy at least once

-->Fast forward another hour to Billy's house, we were gonna hang in the basement but it was being overrun by obnoxious minors. So we decide to wait out on the front lawn while his parents yelled at his brother to get them out.

I actually think that Billy kinda looks like Tom Cruise in this one, I don't know if that's a good thing! Billy and Nicole got into a little tiff b/c Billy still can't believe that fellow Italian Nicole is an atheist and not Roman Cath. they were this close to taking the fight over Theology to the streets

but then they made up. Adorable

still waiting for the annoying kids to leave, we decide to go over to Dunkin Donuts cuz i was in the mood for iced coffee. Good to know that theyre Kosher

and on the way back Nicole ends up in Billy's back seat
We later went back to Billy's and ended up meeting w/ Nick and Will only to sit around and watch some tape Billy made w/ friends in highschool, Night at the Roxbury, whatever else was on Showtime.

3/23/07- Thems the breaks, kid

while walking to the bustop after work @ Axinn, my beloved bag finally gave in, completely snapped and made it known that she could no longer handle the massive amount of books and crap that I stuff into it daily. I knew the day would come but I didn't know it'd be so soon.

3/21/07- Rockin' Rushdie

Salman Rushdie came to Hofstra today,and it was only right that I go after the Salman Rushdie Trivial Pursuit Irony Incident of January. His lecture was awesome and I felt like such a nerd, he's my new hero. I didnt want to get to close to take pics cuz of the totes ridics body gaurd, so they're small sorry, click for better quality.



This one's of him and his wife Padma Lakshmi the host of Top Chef, she even prettier in person, totes peanut butter and jealous.
I learned that Salman Rushdie does in fact like to get down on the dancefloor, and keeps up w/ Britney gossip, and takes the elevator to the 2nd floor like the rest of us slobs.

3/3/07 Screw You Full Moon

So Nicole, Mickey, Billy, and I decide that it's about time that we head to Dave&Busters, a night of hijinks ensues. 1. 3/4 of the way on our ride to D&B I realize that I've forgotten my ID, Nicole then turns around; 2. so we're on Old Country Rd. on our way to D&B or so we think, we end up driving an hour out of the way of Westbury to Dix Hills!!!!!!!!!!!!! 3. Let's get on Jericho Tpke and we can go to Garden City from there simple right? We end up driving in circles twice, before Billy calls asking where exactly are we were, he tells us to get on Glen Cove Rd. 4.Finally get on Glen Cove Rd. in the wrong direction!!!!!!!!!! so we make a u-turn and stop @ a gas station, finally get decent directions 4.5 miles later we arrive at D&B. Lesson learned: Don't go anywhere without (Maggie) the Magellan Navigation and try not to go out on nights where there are full moons, kooky stuff happens. So after a quick hello w/ Mickey and Billy Nicole and I head straight for the bar, which was well deserved after driving around lost for 3 hours.
It was packed so we headed over to one of our favorites, the Wild West video shooter game.

Nicole won so many tickets at Flaming Finger that by the time Billy got to the machine it ran out

Billy used his winning to get himself his very own Jeff Foxworthy and Larry the Cable Guy dolls. I wonder what Jeff Foxworthy and Larry the Cable Guy would say if they saw that they were making out with a black woman

As much as I love Nicole I think procreation is out of the question for us, esp. if it comes out looking like this.

Other craziness that ensued that night, our terrible service, 1)I've said it many a time but Mickey seems to be the common denominator whenever we get shitty service, but the bonus is that we usually get something comped, and tonight was no different, we got our entire meal for free! 2) One of the women who was sitting at the table next to us got so boozed up that she fell down the stairs and threw up in front of everyone at the bar. 3) Billy's little brother getting arrested in Albany earlier that day.
