Last Saturday I got the opportunity to attend the World Premiere of The Awkward Kings of Comedy at the 92YTribeca. I had high expectations for this and it did not disappoint, it was written and directed by Victor Varnado. It featured some of his stand-up as well as that of Marina Franklin, Hannibal Buress, Baron Vaughn and Eric Andre.
During the Q&A afterwards, Victor Varnado mentioned that the documentary had been picked up by Comedy Central, and would be aired early next year as part of Black History Month Comedy programming, which is awesome. So be on the look out. Blerds are taking ovah!!!!!
